Similar in style to Dutch ripple molding, the veneer panels on the exterior of the case would have been carved by passing wood through a specially shaped scraper blade with repetitive passes. With this technique, the contour of the scraper blade imparts the uniform carved form throughout. Possibly English or German. Multiple compartments inside for storage. Includes replaced keys.
